Wall Township Fire District 3 is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time position as Financial Officer. Through shared services agreements, the District provides Administrative support functions to all three of the Township’s Fire Districts as well as Fire Marshal’s Office. The candidate must be proficient with Edmunds Municipal Software, ADP Payroll and Microsoft Word/Excel and PowerPoint. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Payroll, employee benefits administration (PERS/PFRS/SHBP), accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, managing vendors, journal entries, bank deposits and other duties as assigned by the Administrator. The Financial Officer will play a crucial role in the development of the annual budget, including the creation of budget presentations on Microsoft PowerPoint. Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in local government finance. CMFO certification is not required but considered beneficial.
